Are you an established Supply Chain Director or a rising star looking to take the next step up on the managerial ladder? We are currently seeking a dynamic and strategic Supply Chain Director to join a leading Manufacturing /Engineering company and play a key role in driving the company's strategic plan.

As the Supply Chain Director, you will have the opportunity to manage and develop the Purchasing and Supply Chain functions, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures while driving budget optimisation. You will be responsible for reviewing and managing relationships with key suppliers, analysing supply chain metrics, and formulating strategies for optimal procurement. Additionally, you will be involved in engaging suppliers in sustainability programmes and seeking new partnerships to improve environmental footprint.

In this role, you will have the chance to work closely with heads of departments to ensure accurate stock availability based on sales forecasts and production demand. You will also have the opportunity to develop optimal supply chain networks, transportation, and warehousing to achieve cost and delivery targets. International travel will be required for off-site inspections and collaboration with relevant departments to drive automation.

To be successful in this role, you should have a degree level education and/or proven experience working in a similar role, along with formal qualifications in procurement and/or Supply Chain. Experience with SAP or similar procurement systems, as well as a minimum of 5 years' management experience, will be essential.
