Are you an experienced, well-rounded HR professional looking for a challenging role? We are seeking an HR Business Partner to align and oversee payroll for UK sites ensuring compliance including time and attendance systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for standardising and introducing improvements for all process efficiencies and automation for UK sites, whilst also supporting the UK sites' effectiveness through developing and implementing HR processes and 'ways of working'.
You will need to have a thorough knowledge of HR policies, processes and employment legislation, as well as the ability to develop and maintain HR KPI's, reports and analytics for UK sites. Furthermore, you will be required to guide the management teams at UK sites with all aspects of HR strategy, policy and best practice and ensure legal compliance on all employment matters. Building and developing positive working relationships with Trade Union representatives and promoting collaborative working at all levels across the organisation is essential.
The successful candidate will be required to have experience in generalist HR, site-relevant operational duties and be the senior member of the HR team at Longridge working closely with your team. You will need to be able to oversee employee relations, ensuring the provision of legally complaint advice and coaching is provided to leadership at all levels covering investigations, disciplinary, grievance, talent & performance management, attendance and assist in collation of tribunal paperwork if needed. Additionally, you must be accountable for confidentiality and compliance, ensuring code of conduct and data protection principles are adhered to in all HR related practices undertaken.
You will have the chance to strengthen relations with the surrounding communities for career advice and apprenticeship opportunities, as well as oversee recruitment for site base and at Group level in partnership with a fellow Business Partner. Furthermore, you must be able to deputise for fellow Business Partner at Bideford and form a good working relationship.
Our ideal candidate will be an experienced HR Business Partner, have the ability to develop within the role and accept further HR projects, and stay abreast of current trends within Human Resources, which should include but not be limited to recruitment, policy development and processes. Additionally, you will be responsible for the data privacy, protection and information for all aspects within HR.
